At Handmade Hides, every product is crafted with care, often customized just for you. But we understand things don’t always go as planned. Our transparent and customer-friendly order cancellation policy helps you cancel or modify orders easily — when possible.
Order Cancellation Policy – How It Works
You can cancel your order within 12 hours of purchase and receive a full refund. After that, your product may already be in production or packed, limiting cancellation options.
To initiate a cancellation, email us at support@handmadehides.com with your order number, full name, and reason for cancellation.
Cancellation Policy for Custom & Personalized Orders
Custom or personalized leather products (engraved, made-to-order items) are not eligible for cancellation once production starts.

Can I Cancel My Order After It Ships?
No. If your order has already shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. However, you may be eligible for a return. Visit our Return & Exchange Policy for more information.
Note: Personalized and final sale items are excluded.
Refunds for Approved Cancellations
If your cancellation request is accepted:
Your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days
Funds will be returned to your original payment method
A confirmation email will be sent after the refund is processed
We don’t charge any additional cancellation fees if you're within the cancellation window.
Order Cancellation by Handmade Hides
In rare cases, we may cancel orders due to:
Product or material unavailability
Pricing/listing errors
Fraudulent activity or unverifiable payments
If this happens, we’ll notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

H3: Can I change my customization after ordering?
If production hasn’t started, we may be able to update your details instead of cancelling. Contact us as soon as possible.
Will I be charged a fee for cancelling?
No. We don’t charge cancellation fees if you're within the 12-hour time window.
What if I missed the cancellation window?
If your item hasn’t shipped or been customized yet, we’ll do our best — but we can’t guarantee it. Please reach out anyway.
